The SVP Alliance provides two levels of membership; Members and Associates.

SVP Members take an active role in SVP initiatives and they influence the future direction of the technology. SVP Alliance members are entitled to the following privileges:

• Active involvement in defining SVP Alliance policy, such as financial, legal, promotional and technical matters
• Participate in events that advance the development of the SVP specification, such as: conferences, press briefings, and other promotional events
• Initiate and monitor revocation procedures
• Receive status reports regarding SVP specifications and technical roadmaps

SVP Associate Members are any media and technology industry participants that are be interested in becoming knowledgeable about and promoting the SVP Alliance. Associates receive regular updates about SVP activities although certain events are limited to Alliance Members.
